Sri Shankaracharya Jayanti programme was held at the Adi Shakara Brahma Vidya Peeth on 25th April 2023. The programme consisted of Abhishekam and Puja, Bhashya Parayanam, Sannyasa and Brahmacharya Deeksha, and Bhandara.

Four Sannyasis and two Brahmacharis received deeksha on this auspicious occasion:

• Swami Jyotirbrahmananda Tirtha from Kerala, who has been staying at the Peet for the last nine years.
• Swami Anatatmananda Tirta from Andhra Pradesh, who has been staying at the Peet for the last eight years.
• Swami Amrtatmananda Giri from Odisha, who has been staying at the Peeth for the last two years.
• Swami Sivananda Saraswati from Tripura.
• Brahmachari Kaivalya Swaroop from Kerala.
• Brahmachari Krishna Chaitanya from Uttar Pradesh.
